What is this course?
Cardiac Care Technology is an allied course that gets up on board the medical profession. Cardiac Care Technologists assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing, where a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart. The primary job of a technician is to perform tasks that require less medical training before and during the procedure so doctors can focus on the results of the test. A patients life may depend on the efficiency of the cardiac care technologists. |

Eligibility - For admission into bachelor's degree a student must have passed 10+2 exam with biology, chemistry and physics. For entrance into most colleges, a student will also have to appear for a competitive entrance exam. A few top colleges also allow for direct admission at the discretion of the college management. The tenure of the course is 3½ years including a six-month internship period as well. The course is affiliated to Ragiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences -- a government university.
